Ashoka Tano was a Togruta Jedi who fought in the Clone Wars, survived the Great Jedi Purge and one of the few of them to join the New Jedi Order.
Biography[]
Early life (36 BBY-20 BBY)[]
Ashoka was born on the Togruta homeworld of Shili. When Jedi master Plo Koon arrived on the planet and discovered Ashoka was a Force-sensitive being, he brought her to the Jedi temple on Coruscant to be trained in the ways of the Force.
Clone Wars[]
Battle of Christophisis[]
Two years after the start of the Clone wars, Ashoka was assigned to be Anakin Skywalker's Padawan. This was an idea of Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi to see if Anakin was ready to train a Padawan of his own. Anakin and Ashoka managed to help the republic win the Battle of Christophsis by destroying the CIS's shield generator.
Battle of Teth[]
After the Battle of Christophisis, Ashoka and Anakin were assigned to rescue Jabba the Hutt's son Rotta who was being held hostage in a castle on Teth by Count Dooku and Assajj Ventress. Anakin and Ashoka then started an assault on the castle with help from Obi-Wan Kenobi and the 501st Legion. Ashoka rescued the huttlet while Anakin fought Ventress and then retreated with Ashoka for Obi-wan to fight the Sith.
Battle on Tatooine[]
When the Jedi arrived on Tatooine, Anakin dueled Dooku while Ashoka defeated three magnaguards and brought Rotta back to his father.
Rescue mission on Skytop station[]
During a space battle R2-D2 was lost. Anakin and Ashoka then found out that General Grievous had captured R2 and was on Skytop station. They then took a clone squadron to help rescue R2. Ashoka then took on the droid general while Anakin found R2. Ashoka then went to the hanger to regroup with Anakin and then retreated before the station blew up.
Capture of Gunray[]
After Padme Amidala captured Separatist leader Nute Gunray, Ashoka and Jedi Master Luminara Undili secured a republic cruiser to make sure Gunray didn't escape, however, Assajj Ventress rescued the prisoner with help from Captain Argyus.
The Malevolence[]
When Anakin and Ashoka learned of Grievous' new weapon; a banking clan cruiser known as the Malevolence, they went to the Abregado system to rescue Plo Koon and the four clones with him. During this mission they learned of the Malevolence's ion cannons before retreating into hyperspace. During a battle a few days later, Ashoka watched the Malevolence be destroyed from a nearby Acclamator I-class assault ship.
Crash-landing on Maridun[]
After the republic lost the Battle of Quell, Anakin was badly injured. Ashoka and Ayyla Secura crash-landed on the planet Maridun. They then found a group of Lurmen. One of them called Wag Too healed Anakin and after a battle against the CIS, the Jedi left the planet.
