Ashla Prime was the capital city of Kal'Shabbol and the city that housed the first Jedi Bendu monastery and, later, the Bendu Temple of Light. During the Kal'Shabbol Civil War and the millennia that followed, it was defended by the Ashla Prime Army. Once the cities and villages of Kal'Shabbol merged to become one unified government, the city became the capital of the planet.
