Ashinka "Ashi" Li'jú Teré, also known as Ashi Kryyk was a Ts'viriko Exchange agent and bounty hunter, later the reformer and lone Overseer of the GenoHaradan, who lived during the Mandalorian Wars and the First Jedi Purge, having at one point spied on Revan and being affiliated with the Jedi Exile. She was the sister of the Exchange boss Aleissyn Li'jú Teré.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Ashinka "Ashi" Li'jú Teré and her brother Aleissyn "Ales" Li'jú Teré were born on Affavan (Hutt Space) in 3,982 BBY. Their parents were ones of the few Ts'viriko that still resided in that part of the galaxy, however over time managed to buy themselves out of slavery due to their exceptional ability to cheat at gambling and make easy money. Because of their addiction, they settled on the gambling resort world of Affavan. Both Ashi and Ales were unwanted children, born only to later be sold to slavery as a source of income to support their parents' addiction.
While they were being "raised" by their parents they mostly lived in the slums alongside lowlife and tried to care for each other. At the age of 6 Ashi was taken to Rorak where she was sold to slavery and never saw her parents again. She later became aware that her parents weren't in fact making any profit off her and Ales' labor and had instead been tricked into giving up their children under a death threat.
Slavery (3,976–3,971 BBY)[]
At age 6 she was sent to work at a droid factory on Diyu where she was quickly recognized for her exceptional abilities with technology. In comparison to her home, Ashi didn't feel any worse being enslaved, thus she worked to the best of her abilities just to build a positive reputation. Along with honest work however, she would often sneak out to explore and investigate the facility in case she would suddenly need to escape. Being twice thinner than a Human, it was easy for her to squeeze into narrow places and maneuver her way out.
She soon found out that her brother Aleissyn wasn't taken far and was working in the droid warehouse, as well as sleeping there along with a few other slaves, but that fact was only convenient. Ashinka found a way to sneak into the factory at night and talk things over with her brother, at the same time secretly building two beacon droids for themselves in case they ever got separated.
By age 11 she was already a highly qualified technician and droid specialist and was being treated more like a valuable worker than a simple slave, which motivated her to move on and find a more suitable place for work. Over time she became familiar with the facility and staff enough to be able to use the knowledge practically and pave herself a way to escape. She managed to gain the trust of her overseers, a Trandoshan named Dossk and a Twi'lek named Louur by helping them reveal the fact that their Hutt boss was tricking them out of fair pay. That gained her a fair deal of respect and a rite of passage along with her instantly-turned-former overseers as they decided to no longer work for the Hutt.
Escape from Diyu[]
After stealing one of the slavers' small freighters Ashinka and her two former overseers set course to Rodia to try and make a living off smuggling and bounty hunting. For three years (3,970–3,968 BBY) Ashinka stuck around in Rodia being trained by mercenaries and criminals. During this time she received her nickname "Ashi Kryyk" from Dossk. In Dosh, "ashkrik" meant "to bleed your foes dry" and was a reference to some of the techniques Ashi was taught.
"Scouts of the Last Stand" period (3,967–3,966 BBY)[]
For a short time Ashi worked with a group of smugglers and bounty hunters who called themselves the Scouts of the Last Stand and operated within the Hapes Cluster. The group ceased to exist after most of the crew was killed by a single Force user who was later revealed as Revan's step-sister. Ashi, who was among the survivors, swore to avenge the crew she held as her family.
Early "Illusion Legion" period (3,965–3,960)[]
After barely escaping the slaughtering of her group, work was scarce and Ashi barely landed herself a job as a mechanic on one of Dobba the Hutt's smuggling freighters. For the first five years she not only worked on maintenance, but was also being trained in the art of spying and subtle assassination by Lysaria, one of her crew mates who was a member of Vegnere Alliance.
When the Mandalorian Wars began, the group began a secret allegiance with the Vegnere Alliance, worked for the highest bidder and basically supplied both sides with contraband. Ashi and a few other crew members were often sent out to the front lines for assassinations and sabotage.
Sudden changes (3,960–3,955 BBY)[]
Ashinka is made the commander of the Illusion Legion after Hylios' death. Under her command the group was not as efficient anymore and Ashi started looking for a different occupation. Eventually she was accepted into the Genoharadan and by 3,957 BBY was a fully privileged member of the organization as well as Hulas' bodyguard.
In 3,956 BBY after confronting Revan and finding out about Hulas' false intention to accept him into the Genoharadan, Ashi found it to be too much of a dangerous decision and decided to let Revan get rid of the three Overseers while she took on Hulas herself, proclaiming herself The Sole Overseer. She later confronted Revan with her decision and for a short time spied on him enough to get the coordinates of his step-sister's location who he still kept in touch with. Ashinka soon followed after Veive, intending to kill her, but barely escaped with her life, losing her eyes and breaking her left hand, resulting in implants and bone replacements.
By then the Illusion Legion was merely a name and in 3,955 BBY she decided to no longer force its existence. She and all the other crew members no longer kept in touch as if nothing had happened.
Leading the Genoharadan (3,956–3,945)[]

Ashinka as the Overseer of the Genoharadan.
Until her death Ashinka took full control of the Genoharadan, significantly decreasing the amount of agents and improving the standards, making them almost impossible to meet, yet the organization prospered without making itself any more visible than it did. During this time Ashinka was strongly affiliated with the Exchange branch on Nar Shaddaa as by then it was being lead by her brother. Having access to classified Exchange information she found out about the bounty on Jedi and the Jedi Exile and made it her top priority to keep the Exile from coming after the two organizations that wanted her dead.
Affiliation with the Jedi Exile (3,951 BBY)[]
With the help of her personal agents Ashinka was able to track down the Jedi Exile while her ship was docked on Dantooine. She had proposed to work as the Exile's personal bodyguard and agent to help her on her "noble cause" in return for transportation to her made up points of interest. Gaining the Exile's fragile trust Ashinka spent her time spying after her and the crew while pretending to work for her.
Over time it seemed like the Exile almost befriended Ashinka, but she could not let her get rid of the organizations she cared deeply about. While on Nar Shaddaa Ashinka lured the Exile into a trap and almost got her killed, however she escaped with no more leads to either the Exchange or the Genohadaran and did not bother to waste any more time trying to locate the ones hunting her. After finding out the Exile survived, Ashinka made the bounty get called off and never crossed paths with the Exile again.
Final years[]
After the confrontation with the Jedi Exile, Ashinka returned to her base, a large ship that was turned into a droid factory, located near Csilla and kept working as the Overseer until her death. In 3,945 BBY, at age 37 she died of natural causes on her ship and was never found.
Physical Appearance[]
Ashinka looked mostly like a typical Ts'viriko. She had long facial features, light skin, green eyes with a yellow tint and straight two-toned, two-textured hair. The blond (top) layer was feathery, very soft and light while the dark red (bottom) layer was wiry and rough to the touch. She usually kept the dark red hair tied into two ponytails that were separated at the bottom by some beads. Standing at almost 2 meters tall, she had prolonged legs and small bones which made her look sickly thin.
By 3,951 BBY she no longer had any irises, only green-ish circles around the pupil and her red hair was cut by half. She had a horizontal scar inflicted along her nose and cheeks, three scars on her right side and severe burns on her arms.
Weapons and Armor[]
Ashinka specialized in long-ranged weapons, favoring prolonged sniper rifles for subtle assassinations and heavy blaster pistols for close quarters combat. Sometimes she would carry a heavy blaster rifle in her right hand and a Genoharadan poison blade in her left, using it as a means to keep the enemy from coming too close. She never wore an armored top as it conflicted with her flexible spine and she was used to being nimble.
Personality[]
Respectful, but not a suck-up during her earlier years, she kept her cool and preferred to let an argument die down rather than get involved in it. After the acceptance into the Genoharadan however she became more violent and possibly mentally unstable. After losing contact with so many previous crew members she could no longer trust in anyone.
