Asa Zagrev was the mother of Breek Zagrev, who later became a Centurion, princess, and Royal Executor of the Golden Empire. Asa and her husband were rebel guerillas fighting against the corporate kleptocracy controlling the planetary capital on Sanduluc, and raised their daughter in a series of safehouses. In 121 ABY, both Zagrevs were killed when an explosive charge they were setting detonated prematurely, leaving Breek orphaned. The Zagrevs were well thought of by the rebel community, who attempted to care for Breek despite the drain she presented on their resources, though they did not look very hard for her when she ran away.
Decades later, while on an undercover mission to Coruscant to obtain Sith holocrons, Breek used her mother's name as an alias.
