Dangor is a fool. He wasn't power hungry, instead he was a faithful ally to the Emperor. But now that his Majesty has perished, his throne world destroyed... Madness. Madness, and stupidity.
—Sector Admiral Lucian Aetius about Dangor's grab for power.

Ars Dangor was a male Human who served as one of Palpatine's first aides during the waning days of the Republic, and went on to serve the Galactic Empire through the Declaration of a New Order until well after the Battle of Endor. A gifted orator and talented politician in his own right, he followed Palpatine throughout the Naboo man's career as a Senator and during his terms as Supreme Chancellor with a fanatical loyalty, and was forever content to serve his master.

When Palpatine dissolved the Republic and formed the first Galactic Empire, Dangor became an Imperial Advisor, though unlike many other advisors, who wore elaborate dress and doted over the Emperor's every word, Dangor was considered cunning and ruthless, and served by the Emperor's side.

Main: Ars Dangor's Biography

Countdown to Collapse[]

Ars Dangor stars as a survivor of the Destruction of Byss, while during a meeting of the survivors over the world of Relus, he announced himself the Imperial Regent of the Empire and took the Bellator-class dreadnought Regent as his flagship.

He was denounced by Sector Admiral Lucian Aetius, who was attempting instead to preserve what little dignity and unity the surviving Imperials of Byss had, with Dangor instead selfishly chose to implement a power grab rather than concern himself with the evacuation of the Beshqek system as the Byss Run sped towards its collapse.

Antagonizing Aetius throughout, Dangor meets his end when the Captain of the Regent executed him, when Aetius not only disproved Dangor's claim but had also taken under his protection the only known legitimate successor to Emperor Palpatine. Thus by technicality, Aetius was now the acting Regent of the Empire, making Dangor's claims and deceptions void.
