This article contains a master list of all the armaments used of the Republic Military infantry and the Grand Army of the Republic. These include, various ranged weapons/blasters, explosives, splash launchers, munitions/supplies and several other ordinance technologies. These assets were commissioned from various suppliers and authorized arms dealers as part of the cost of the Galactic Republic military expense, allocated by the galactic senate, and verified by Republic military officials and the Republic Intelligence Bureau — more specifically the Universal Military Resources Committee and Military Budget Committee. Many of these suppliers, such as BlastTech Industries, worked very closely with the Kaminoan armor smiths, to ensure there was modularity and compatibility with the clone armor technologies. One such example was making sure the blasters and attachments were compatible and optimized for functionality with the heads up display (HUD) in a clone trooper's helmet.

Blasters & ranged projectile weapons[]

A ranged weapon was any handheld weapon that fired projectile items with force toward the intended target. Blasters fired blaster bolts; heavily concentrated high energy matter (known as plasma). For centuries, blaster technology was the conventional method of combat. However ranged weapons that fired physical slugs (solid projectiles known as bullets), were employed in certain combat scenarios, by various individuals.

Blasters[]

The following were blasters used in combat. They came in different sizes and variants including pistols, rifles/carbines, heavy repeaters, sniper rifles, marksman rifles and interchangeable weapons.

Blaster rilfes[]
  • DC-15 Blaster rifle
    • DC-15S Blaster rifle
    • DC-15A Blaster rifle
  • DC-15 Blaster carbine
    • DC-15S Blaster carbine
    • DC-15A Blaster carbine
  • DC-15C Blaster carbine
  • Westar M-5 Blaster rifle
Repeater rifles & marksman rifles[]
  • DC-15LE Blaster rifle
  • DC-15X Marksman rifle
  • T-21 Heavy repeater rifle
Sniper rifles[]
  • Valken-38X Sniper rifle
  • 773 Firepuncher sniper rifle
Blaster pistols[]
  • DC-17 Hand blaster
  • DC-17 Commando pistol
    • DC-17 Commando pistol (MK.I)
    • DC-17 Commando pistol (MK.II)
  • DC-15s Commando holdout pistol
  • EC-17 holdout pistol (ionized)
Universal blasters[]
  • DC-17M Interchangeable weapons system

Slugthrowers[]

The following slugthrowers were used selectively by specialists and special forces clone troopers, as well as local armies.

  • CA-76 Scatter gun (Accelerated charged particle array gun)
  • CA-64 Shock blaster (non-lethal)
  • Mortar

Other ranged weapons[]

There were other types of ranged weapons that fired other elements depending on the use case. This includes lasers, beams, fire, gas and voltages of electrical energy, and concentrated proton. These use cases were more rare within the clone army, and less traditional but common place with local Republic militia.

Explosives & throwable ordinances[]

These ordinances included detonatable explosives/charges, throwable explosives and other throwable grenades (such as stun grenades or disorientation grenades) that had a variety of effects ranging from extremely lethal to non-lethal.

Launchers[]

Various projectile launchers could be used to launch grenades. One such device was the barrage launcher, that launched a specialized variant of impact grenade that had a delayed explosive trigger.

Throwable ordinances[]

Throwables included various lethal explosives as well as non lethal distractions.

  • Thermal detonator grenade
  • Remote thermal detonite grenade
  • Electromagnetic pulse grenade (also known as "droid poppers")
  • Impact grenade
  • Detonite charge
  • Det-pack
  • Shock grenade
  • Smoke grenade
  • Flash grenade
  • Acid grenade
  • Repel grenade

Melee[]

Various melee weapons and armaments were used by both clones and local militia of the Republic throughout the war. These weapons were used in close range combat to attack or defend the user.

  • Shock Batton
  • GAR Balistic Shield
  • Riot Control Shield
  • Vibro-blades
    • Vibro-knife
    • Vibro-knife (ionized)
    • Vibro-blade sword
  • Dispersion Sword

Munitions & ordinance supplies[]

Tibanna gas cartridges were used as ammunition for most blasters. Power cells (also known as power packs) were replaceable or rechargeable battery packs that provided power to a weapons blaster condenser (and sometimes the whole blaster), and thus was considered a munition of sort.

Other technologies[]

Various other technologies were used by local militia of the Republic. Although not clone army standard issue, planetary forces if passing unit inspections were permitted to use other technologies and armaments.
