Aprippa Aldrete was a male Geonosian who once served Poggle the Lesser during the time of the Separatist Crisis, however when Geonosis joined the Confederacy of Indpendent Systems, Aldrete formed a Geonosian army that aided Galactic Republic in their fight which led to the start of the Clone Wars. After moving to Alderaan at the rank of Admiral, Aprippa became a noble brother to Agrippa Aldrete.
Biography[]
Forming the Geonosian Alliance[]
During his life during the Separatist Crisis, Aprippa always believed that Geonosians would be noble protectors to Geonosis. However, when Archduke Poggle the Lesser and his people joined with the Confederacy of Independent Systems in 24 BBY, Aprippa, along with other Geonosians were forced to comply to build a droid army for Count Dooku and the Separatist Council. This became a formation to the Geonosian industries.
Before the Clone Wars started, Aprippa was one of the Geonosians to stand down since he believed that many of his kind were serving as slaves to the Separatists. There, he gathered many Geonosians that were against the Separatist conspiracy and formed the Geonosian Alliance, an organization to serve as allies to the Galactic Republic. While Aprippa was appointed as one of the leaders, Poggle the Lesser eventually discovered this after he received this from a spy and reported this incidence to Count Dooku. Dooku ordered Poggle to kill them all for those that were against the Separatist Cause. Poggle complied and was able to summon a droid army and kill all the Geonosian traitors. Aprippa eventually led a group of 200 Geonosian rebels to destroy one of the factories that were constructing thousands of Battle droids. The mission was a success, but more than 80 were killed.
During the Battle of Geonosis, Aprippa and the leaders led the Alliance to aid the Grand Army of the Republic and the Jedi to defeat the Separatists as they began a full retreat. After joining the Republic, Aprippa and the Rebels would be assigned on dangerous missions where they would serve as spies to the Separatists and deliver information to the Jedi Order and the Galactic Senate.
Battle of Alderaan[]
Around 20 BBY, Aprippa was promoted to Admiral of his own destroyer called the Geonosia where he served under General Agen Kolar and Satele Threnol. Aprippa became a great partner to Agen since the General learned Geonosian language.
