Anunius Grencur was a General of the Rebel Alliance. A Soriusan, he was the last child born before the planet's destruction due to a prototype Death Star. His parents, when they learned of their planet's doom, placed him in a small probe and sent him into space, hoping a crew of spacers would find him and raise him as their own. He was discovered by a Rebel fleet and trained into adulthood. Admiral Ackbar served as a father figure to him, and was one of his main trainers. During the Battle of Hoth, a base on which Ackbar and Anunius were stationed on was invaded, and Ackbar was nearly killed. Grencur jumped in front of the blaster fire aimed at the admiral, killing him, but saving his ally.
