I heard there was a new pirate out there, raiding the spacelanes. Turned out to be two; the Blackrend twins, Alain and Angela. Well... at least they're not as rude as some other pirates I've met.

Angela Blackrend was a female Human from Corellia. Along with her twin brother, Alain, she became one of the "founding captains" of the Pirate Kingdom of Calt, and the two together founded what would one day become House Blackrend, a notable family in the region which carried effectively-hereditary letters of marque from the Diet of the Ethereal Demesnes. Aside for her illegal work with her brother, notably being part of Leozav Varino's crew, Angela was also individually infamous, becoming known for her smuggling, raiding, plundering, and general misdeeds. Unlike her brother Alain, Angela tended to prefer not working in the Outer Rim, and, after becoming captain of her own ship much sooner than he did, Angela began pirating worlds between the Outer Rim and the Core, sometimes even venturing dangerously close to the Galactic Republic's more heavily-defended regions. While Alain spent his time prior to receiving his Ethereal letter of marque smuggling Sith artifacts and pirating Rimward starships, Angela was more bold, seizing large ships and cargoes as deep as the Core Worlds themselves prior to receiving the offered letter of marque, at which time she and Alain both gladly based themselves on Calt. During their lifetimes and in a historical sense, the Blackrend twins were most well-known for the biggest mission they planned and commanded together; the Mission to Kelgaltis III.
