Plot summary[]
Revan the Revanchist travels alone to an isolated swamp world after her hollow victory over Darth Malak at the Star Forge. There, she encounters more than she had ever reckoned.

Revan envisioned in Interlude follows the appearance of P_FEM_B_MED_02 from (KOTOR).

The author often played the central character in a stealthy role, who kills only when the storyline requires it. Character choices generally aligned with those of the Light Side of the Force—although the author himself distances his version Revan from the notion that she is a Jedi practitioner.
The cabbage plants described in Interlude were inspired by skunk cabbage (Lysichiton americanus) found growing in the boggy marshes near the author's home.
This short story does not contain a line of spoken dialog, and the author experiments with literary modernism to develop a sense of Now-Then.
