User:Yodakenobi as he thought of the Alternate Universe

Alternate Universe, sometimes referred to as Star Wars Alternate Universe or AU, is a video game series by the user Yodakenobi that fixes the Star Wars saga. It focuses on a revised version of the Star Wars saga. It is currently being revised.

Plot[]

Prologue[]

The story starts in 25,000 BBY on Dathomir and there is complete silence. Two shadows stand alone. One shadow is Darth Plagueis, the Dark Lord of the Sith who concludes the teachings of his apprentice. However, he is betrayed and murdered by his apprentice. Before dying, Plagueis knocks Sidious out of his sight with a blast of Force lightning and states that the Sith always betray one another, then passes away. The apprentice recovers and plots his ultimate plan: the Sith shall once again rule the galaxy.

Invasion of Naboo[]

A millennium later it is now 19 BBY and the Trade Federation has invaded the once peaceful planet of Naboo. Supreme Chancellor Valorum has sent Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his former Apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi to negotiate with the Neimoidian Viceroy Nute Gunray. However, negotiations do not work out and Gunray orders his battle droids to kill the Jedi. The Jedi escape and flee to Naboo. On the planet, the invasion has begun. Qui-Gon rescues a Gungan named Jar Jar Bink from being killed. They reunite with Obi-Wan after being separated and Jar Jar, despite being banished, takes the Jedi to hide at his underwater city of Otoh Gunga. The three swim there and upon arrival are captured. The Gungan ruler Boss Nass refuses to help the Jedi, but allows them a Bongo to travel to the capital city. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan then release Bink from certain death and allow him to come with them.

Meeting Annikin Starkiller[]

The three arrive at Theed and save Queen Sabe Amidala. The group then are attacked by the blockade, but the astromech droid R2-D2 saved the group; however, the hyperdrive ended up leaking. The Jedi decide to land on the desert planet of Utapau. They end up crash landing, which results in the death of the pilot Ric Olié and two of the four guards. They crash land outside the home of Annikin Starkiller, who, along with his family, agree to fix their ship.

Meanwhile, the Sith Lord Darth Maul is hired by Gunray to find the queen and the Jedi. Maul believes the escapees are on Utapau and prepares to head there to find them.

Annikin, the Jedi, Bink, and Artoo head to Mos Eisely to buy the new hyperdrive for the ship. Annikin's boss Watto refuses to sell the hyperdrive to Qui-Gon unless he has Republic credits. Annikin promises to help after the Boonta Eve Classic in order to earn the last ten wupiupi to buy the ship. Bink then is attacked by legendary podracer Sebulba for accidentally taking a gorg from a market, but Annikin saves Bink at the last second.

When they get home, Annikin heads back alone to Mos Eisely and makes a new deal to earn the hyperdrive. Annikin states that if he wins the Boonta Eve, then he wins the hyperdrive. If he loses, Watto keeps the hyperdrive. Everyone agrees to the deal and help Annikin prepare for the race.

Darth Maul lands outside of Mos Eisely at night and sends three probe droids to Mos Eisely. The Boonta Eve then occurs the next morning and Annikin and Sebulba are in hot pursuit. Sebulba eliminates many racers by cheating, but during the final lap, Annikin defeats Sebulba and forces him to crash and witness Annikin defeat him. Annikin wins the money and allows his visitors to buy the hyperdrive. Obi-Wan tells Annikin he can leave with them if he wants. Annikin packs his things and says goodbye to everyone before leaving.

Just as Obi-Wan and Annikin are leaving, Darth Maul attempts to attack the group; the two duel which results in a stalemate.

Events on Coruscant[]

The starship flees to Coruscant in which Sabe meets up with Naboo's senator Palpatine and discuss replacing Valorum with a stronger Supreme Chancellor. Sabe refuses since Valorum has been her strongest supporter.

At the Jedi Temple, the Jedi High Council debates whether to send a council member to investigate cloning activities on Kamino. The topic is put on hold when Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan arrive. Obi-Wan tells them about the Sith attacker, which then frightens the council since the Sith have been extinct for a millennium. They agree to discover the identity of the attacker. Obi-Wan then wishes for Annikin to be tested by then. The council only agrees when Qui-Gon's former master Dooku arrives and joins the discussion.

In the Senate, Sabe finds no help from anyone and votes for Chancellor Valorum to be replaced.

Annikin arrives at the Jedi Temple and meets Padme, who shows him around the temple and then Annikin is tested by the council. Yoda senses too much fear in Annikin and later tells Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon that they refuse to train Annikin because he is too old and sense much fear in the young man. Starkiller's fate is put on hold when a holographic transmission of Bail Prestor Antilles says that the Senate approves of the investigation on Kamino. The council realizes Dooku told the Senate and is cross with him. They agree to send Annikin, who is requested to lead the investigation at the Queen's request.

Discovery on Kamino[]

Annikin and Artoo arrive on Kamino to investigate. Artoo stays with the ship while Annikin investigates the facility. Prime Minister Lama Su gives Annikin a tour and explains the cloning process. He says that Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas placed an order for the clone army almost thirteen years ago, but Annikin doesn't know anyone with that name. He then arranges a meeting with the host for the clones and bounty hunter Jango Fett. Fett also doesn't know Sifo-Dyas, stating a man named Maul recruited him on one of the moons of Bogden. Annikin leaves and returns to his ship and contacts the Jedi Council on Coruscant stating everything he's learned. The Council denies the events concerning Sifo-Dyas, but they order Annikin to arrest Jango and bring him into custody. Annikin arrives and duels Fett. He eventually gains the upper hand and forces Fett to surrender when he threatens to kill Jango's son Boba Fett.

Battle of Naboo[]

Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon arrive with the Queen to Naboo, because the Queen didn't want Naboo to be wiped out completely. The Council told the two Jedi to escort her in case the Queen's attacker on Naboo was involved. The Queen successfully negotiates with the Gungan army into working together and saving Naboo. On Coruscant, the Senate approves of the clone army and grants the newly elected Chancellor Palpatine emergency powers to create the army. Mace Windu then heads to Naboo with the other Jedi to save the planet. The battle begins with the Gungans led by Jar Jar Bink on the Grassy Plains while Sabe attempts to arrest Gunray. She succeeds with help from Padme and the clones. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon duel with Darth Maul, but are slightly injured. Yoda arrives and duels with Maul, but the Sith Lord escapes. Annikin leads a Jedi and clone assault to knock out the Droid Control Ship and saves the day. However, the Federation has a back up army of Neimoidian Warriors, but Annikin and the others attack the armies, forcing them to retreat. The battle is finally over and Naboo is safe. Annikin is Obi-Wan's Padawan and the Clone Wars have begun...

Platform differences[]

The Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2 versions are the same, but the PlayStation Portable version is slightly different. The character Lex is added on Kamino, droidekas are present during the escape from Theed, and the new feature called Duel Mode is added, although this was added onto the Wii and PS2 versions. The Nintendo DS version is mainly the player controlling Obi-Wan Kenobi and omits many details such as Annikin's discovery on Kamino, Sabe capturing the Viceroy, and the Gungan battle.

Duel mode[]

In Duel Mode, one can unlock many characters such as Obi-Wan, Darth Maul, Mace Windu, Annikin, and others. One has many levels to fight on, such as the Naboo hangar, the Starkiller homestead, the Galactic Senate, the Gungan battlefield and others.

Sequel[]

Yodakenobi plans to have a sequel for Alternate Universe. First, he will make spin–off novels based on the Clone Wars.

Cancellation[]

The Alternate Universe was eventually cancelled when Yodakenobi's life got busy, so the user Knuckleheads the Squirrel took over and is currently rewriting the whole saga.
