Sir, I've been called psychopathic, unbalanced, and crazy. It's true.
—Alpha-119 to General Coby Barrac

Alpha 119, also known as Kote, which means "glory" in Mando'a, was an ARC Captain and a jack-of-all-trades during the Clone Wars. He performed duties ranging from front-line combat to reconnaissance and intelligence gathering.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Kote was created on Kamino in the year 30 BBY as an Alpha ARC. All Alphas were considered a bit unstable and random, but Kote went beyond the norm. "He used to lie out in the open during live-fire exercises, trying to make the trainers reveal their location," recalls fellow ARC Alpha-21. "It was like he had no fear."

The Clone Wars[]

When the war began on Geonosis, Kote was busy on Serenno, undermining a Separatist movement in the capital city. After this, he was shipped out to Ord Mantell for more covert operations with a group of soldiers from the 501st.

His first real combat duty was when he was assigned to the RAS Above Reproach and was sent to the Vergesso Asteroids to destroy pirates operating in that sector. This mission was success, and after that Kote went on to fight on Mygeeto, and following that, Felucia. He also participated in Operation Knightfall on Coruscant, where he led a group of 501st soldiers in a sneak attack on a Jedi-held area.

This was Kote's final mission, as he suffered an injury during the battle that left him crippled. He died four years later in the Grand Army of the Republic Retirement Center.

Personality and traits[]

Kote was, as mentioned before, a bit of a loose cannon. However, he "always got the job done," in the words of a 417th trooper Kote served with on Mygeeto.

Part of his confrontational nature reflected in his style on the battlefield. Rather than eliminate the enemy from a distance, Kote preferred to get up at close range. His favored weapon, a Verpine rifle he took from a dead Trandoshan mercenary, gave him a distinct edge at that range.

Throughout his life, he had served with the 327th Star Corps, the Galactic Marines, the 417th Specialized Legion and the 501st Legion.
