Anything for the New Republic.
—Pliers
Alpha 100 or Pliers was an ARC trooper Colonel in the Republic during the Battle of Kamino and in the New Republic. He had been stationed on Kamino ever since the fall of his former affiliation.
Biography[]
Clone Wars[]
Like all clone troopers, Pliers was born on the aquatic planet of Kamino, under the cloning of infamous Bounty hunter Jango Fett. He foresaw training for clone cadets along with most of fellow members of the Rancor Contingent. His primary sub-occupation was to evaluate future soldiers on their ability to use their weaponry, whether it would have been a gun or blade.
Order 66[]

Pliers in battle position
Once Order 66 was carried out, Pliers attempted to contact any remaining Jedi in the galaxy. He managed to communicate with Obi-Wan Kenobi, who had just battled Anakin Skywalker. They both agreed to go undercover from the Empire and not speak to each other to avoid getting intercepted.
After Order 66[]
Yuuzhan Vong War[]
Still stationed on Kamino, Pliers aided the New Republic in the war with the Yuuzhan Vong. He assisted in taking down multiple Yuuzhan Vong officers along with Yugo Patoria, the first lieutenant of the Yuuzhan Vong association. Once an explosive device was set off near comrade Captain Carg, Pliers immediately rushed to his location and brought him to cover. He got Leland, a longtime rebel medic, over to patch him up. Then, Commander Ponds, who was in a trance, was mysteriously forced to shoot and kill Carg, leaving Pliers grieving in agony. They soon declared the battle a loss.
Death[]
On a Star Cruiser, the Dark Jedi known as Sepath took control of multiple clone troopers. After a huge surgery on Ponds, Sepath went to a new carrier, Pliers. Pliers then died from complications of Sepath's Force.
Personality and Traits[]
A buff and loyal trooper, Pliers thought that no matter the call-sign of his affiliation, it would always succeed and find a lighter path than their enemies. He stood exactly six feet tall and had standard ARC trooper armor with some red and grey markings. He was good friends with Captain Carg due to the fact that they were both a part of the same group within the Grand Army of the Republic. Once a grenade went off near Carg's position, Pliers did not hesitate to get his old buddy to safety, even if it meant putting his own life in danger. Pliers was content to be reunited with Carg when Carg along with others reached Kamino.
