Allax Sentine was a male Nagai. Though he served a long and distinguished career in the Dread Fleet, he was primarily remembered for his involvement in the Sentine Conspiracy.

Born in the region of Firefist controlled by the Nagai warlord Lothar Kass`l, Sentine enlisted in the Dread Fleet at the age of seventeen, earning an officer's commission some years later. His superiors considered him a tactically proficient leader, and his personal views were entirely in line with those of Kass`l—namely, that the best defense against aggression from the Tof Kingdom was a consistent policy of attack on the Tofs to keep their ability to make war on a grand scale constantly disrupted. He often served at the forefront of his master's wars, and was captain of his own ship by 150 ABY.

In 157 ABY, Lothar's twin sons, Broll and Veli, returned from their self-imposed exile in Skyriver, assassinated their father, and laid claim to Belzior and the Dread Fleet. Sentine initially supported their coup, even when the brothers went to war with their half-sister Jehra; while Sentine had wholeheartedly supported Lothar's campaigns against the Tofs, he was more critical of Lothar's despotic policies over his own people, and was willing to entertain the idea of, in his words, "a warmer, fuzzier Dread Fleet." Nonetheless, he expanded his purview into intelligence, acquiring some of the spies who had formerly worked for Ravi Kass`l, now a prisoner of his half-brothers.

As the Brothers' War dragged on inconclusively, however, Sentine lost faith in the twins' leadership; if they could not even defeat their sister, he wondered, how would they protect Firefist against the Tofs? In 158 ABY, his spies reported that Ravi was rebuilding his network, and Sentine suspected the boy planned a coup of his own. Allowing the spies to relay messages between himself and Ravi, Sentine at first legitimately considered raising up Ravi as a replacement for the twins, at least as a figurehead, with Sentine himself the power behind the throne. Over time, however, the nature of Ravi's messages convinced him the boy lacked the necessary experience and temperament to lead.

Following Ravi's instructions, Sentine carefully assembled disaffected soldiers and government officials, but engineered a conspiracy with himself, not Ravi, as the new head of government. In 159 ABY, he assisted Ravi in escaping from confinement, capturing Tae Kass`l in the bargain. Ravi had always planned to take Tae, but had never really intended to hurt his nephew. Sentine, however, had his men seize both Tae and Ravi; the young men were beaten and Ravi tortured for information.

But the conspiracy went awry for Sentine too. Broll's Force-sensitive girlfriend, Selina Quinn, led the Kass`l twins and their Dread Sentinels to where Sentine's men were interrogating Tae and Ravi, and Sentine's men were all killed. As the Dread Sentinels swept through the city and rounded up the other conspirators, Sentine fled the planet on his private shuttle, intending to defect to Jehra. However, he was pursued by Dread Fleet fighters, and shot down as he reached the lower atmosphere. Rather than risk his shuttle crashing and hurting civilians, the Dread Fleet simply blasted him out of the sky.
