The Alfthon Cluster, also known as the Alfthon Cloud was a large, highly radioactive gas cloud located in Gargan Space. It engulfed much of the region next to the Inner Realms, effectively cutting it of from the rest of the galaxy.
The Alfthon Cluster indirectly contributed in the Tyrrhan's cultural stagnation following the Decimation of Peelo Colony. After Tyrrha was cut off from galactic communications, the rest of the galaxy remained largely unaware of the planet's existence due to the Cluster's radiation scrambling most scanners.
