Alene Kor was a female Human Jedi Master who served the Galactic Republic around the time of the Great Hyperspace War. She was a Jedi Consular and a seer. A respect teacher and speaker within the Order, she requested to train young Zakke. Eventually, she was responsible for the guidance and training of the Lunian Jedi and central to confrontations against the Nathair Clan.
Biography[]
Jedi Shadow[]
Born in Coruscant, Kor eventually joined the Order and began her training as a Padawan. She eventually gained proeminence as a Knight, acting with great nobleness and grandeur. Once her ability as a seer was unraveled, Kor often isolated herself and focused on understanding her visions. She soon began to act as a Shadow, under the guidance of Master Dai Sorren. Sorren sought to eliminate the Sith remnants within Republic territory and based himself at Cedric's Keep, a space-station in the Kendor system. Reporting to Sorren, she was often sent to neutralize Sith or supporters of their institutions.
Training Zakke[]
After the war, Kor accompanied Zakke to the Outer Rim to complete his training. They took part in a sentinel team of the Order, stationed on Kendar. They worked under the guidance of Master Fen Varyk, and sought to investigate the Kendarian culture in search of Force-sensitive individuals. They were eventually striked by Nikto mercenaries hired by Santor Luna. During their battle, the lives of Kor and Varyk were saved by Zakke during an ultimate attack from the mercenaries, which resulted in Master Varyk knighting him at the end of their confrontation. Helped by Kor, Zakke discovered a connection between the Luna Tribe and the ancient dark-sided organization Nathair Clan. Kor requested him to investigate the planet Od Luna, while she set out to face Santor Luna, wishing to put an end to his military presence on Kendar.
Crime War of Kendar[]
The news of an alliance between the Luna Tribe and a Sith organization soon became public, and Kor saw herself entangled in a war between several criminal crime lords who sought revenge on Santor Luna. Kor temporarily pledged allegiance to Karin Argo, a human bounty hunter who simply did not like Luna. They managed to arrest Luna for his treason against the Kendarian rulership, and also to cause heavy losses on many of the criminal organizations that participated in the war. Master Varyk eventually joined Kor and Argo in meeting the new crime overlord of Kentar, Baru Selkor. Selkor and the Lunian tribesmen joined forces against the Jedi, which resulted in Kor and Varyk retreating alongside Argo and a few soldiers.

Alene Kor was a firm, rigid and introspective Jedi Master who had a deep connection with the Force. She was hardly able to develop attachment for anyone, and often felt lonely in her way of understanding the Jedi path. As a Padawan, she developed a strong bond with Fen Varyk. They would often argue about the future of the Jedi, the troubled context in which they were and while Varyk became a rigid and strict Master, Kor eventually provided an optimistic and soft-spoken mentorship to Zakke. She was concerned for the Jedi organization, as well as all the war she could after uncovering her gift as a Jedi seer. She spent large parts of her life dedicating herself to study and meditation, and did not appreciate to draw her lightsaber or join combat.

A knowledgeable student of the Jedi, Kor possessed numerous mental skills she achieved through the Force. She was a pristine lighstaber dueler, despite preferring to persuade her way out of troubling social situations. She did not have great skill on handling droid technology, but managed to look after her custom-built scout starship the Night Dreamer by herself and often mentioned it as one of her greatest achievements.
