The Aldera Palace was the home of Alderaan's royal family and the planet's capital during the time of the Galactic Empire.

Said to "shimmer against the midday sun", the Alderaanian Royal Palace was the tallest building in Aldera, the capital city of Alderaan. It stood on a small hill overlooking a field of various planets, flowers, trees and herbivorous animal species. Behind the palace were the snowcapped Ophuchi Mountains and a group of waterfalls, and a river flowed around the base of it as well as through a small portion of the building itself.[1]
There were numerous towers and walkways in the upper levels that displayed family crests of Alderaan's former kings and queens on flags and banners. The largest banner, placed in the center of the flags, was the seal of the Galactic Empire.[1]
History[]
After the rise of the Galactic Empire, the Aldera Palace was the home of Queen Breha Organa, her husband Bail Organa, and their daughter, Princess Leia Organa. Around that time, members of Epin Lanmaw's family would provide and bring goods to the palace.[2]
