Shortly before the Battle of Yavin, Tano came across a young force-sensitive orphan known only as Sawyer. Still a follower of certain Jedi teachings and learning the boy was an innocent castaway, Tano decided to adopt and raise him as if he were own son, raising him in the ways of the Force.

Biography[]

Ahsoka fought off the Ninth Sister, but as she took a moment to rest, she heard the cry of a young boy, still waiting on in fear and grief. She approached the sound to find a toddler aged human male, next to two dead bodies, a man and woman, likely his parents, and Tano understood immediately. The boy was an orphan, and he was terrified at that very moment of anyone with a lightsaber. She deactivated hers and tossed them aside and approached him. The boy started crying and begged her to stay away, but Ahsoka continued emanating only the light of the Force, and she kneeled down, pulling him into a hug. She said to him "you poor little guy" as she allowed him begin crying and cling to her.

After Malachor[]

Between 3 BBY and 4 ABY, a course of seven years, Tano remained inactive throughout the Galactic Civil War, flying under the radar to avoid the wrath of Darth Vader.
