It's every citizen's duty to challenge their leaders, to keep them honest, and hold them accountable if they're not.
—Ahsoka Tano

Ahsoka Tano, nicknamed Snips by her master, Anakin Skywalker, was a Togrutan female Jedi padawan who was born during the final days of the Galactic Republic. As a child, she was revealed to be force-sensitive and was eventually taken into the Jedi Order and began her training to become a Jedi Knight. In 22 BBY, she was assigned to Anakin Skyalker to be her padawan and he accepted her as his apprentice after the republic victory on Christophsis.

She served as a Jedi commander in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars and fought alongside Anakin, CT-7567, nicknamed Rex, and many other Clones against the vast droid armies of the Confederacy of Independent Systems in many battles and on many fronts all across the galaxy. Towards the end of the war in 19 BBY, Ahsoka was sent to numerous worlds within the Outer Rim in hopes of weakening Separatist defenses and bring the war to an end. At the end of the war, Ahsoka was on Mandalore leading an assault to assassinate the renegade Sith Lord, Darth Maul, when Order 66 was executed and Ahsoka was almost killed had Rex not saved her. She then faked her death and fled into hiding. She later found out that the Jedi Order was destroyed and that the Galactic Republic was dissolved.

Following the downfall of the Republic with the formation of the Galactic Empire and the destruction of the Jedi Order, Ahsoka fled to the Raxus system in the Outer Rim and hid on Raxus Prime, a backwater and forgotten world known for its endless seas of junk, and hid in an abandoned Separatist factory until she was captured in 17 BBY by the Imperial Inquisitorius. She was then sent to a prison where she was interrogated into revealing the location of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi until she was saved by Rahm Kota and his militia four months later. Afterwards, she joined up with Kota and took part in an early rebellion against the empire.

History[]

Early Life[]

Ahsoka was born on the planet of Torgutan homeworld of Shili where she was discovered to be force-sensitive at a very young age. When she was three, Ahsoka was approached by Jedi Master Plo Koon at the age of three and was taken into the Jedi Order during his mission to the planet. At the time, Ahsoka was nearly captured and forced into slavery by an unknown slaver but, he was thwarted by Plo Koon and she was instead taken in by the order and raised in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. She began her training to become a Jedi Knight instantely and was promoted to the rank of padawan by the start of the Clone Wars.

Joining the Clone Wars[]

At the age of 14, Ahsoka was assigned to Anakin Skywalker to become his apprentice following the instigation of the Clone Wars by Jedi Grand Master Yoda. Ahsoka reached the rank of padawan at the time and was very eager to join Anakin's side, a trait that Yoda believed would help Skywalker grow emotionally knowing that he feared the loss of his loved ones and by being Ahsoka's master and teacher, he would grow to accept that he must let go and would move on after Ahsoka's training was completed.

Battle of Christophsis[]

Ahsoka was sent to the planet of Christophsis where her future master was present at with his master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, leading the Republic military effort against the Separatist invasion of the planet. She arrived to meet her new master and to send a message that both of them were needed back on Coruscant. She arrived on Christophsis briefly after the Clone army was able to push back a Separatist assault and forced them to withdraw and fall back. Upon arrival, she was thought to be Kenobi's padawan learner until Ahsoka corrected him and said how she's Anakin's padawan much to his surprise. While reluctant at first, Anakin eventually accepted Ahsoka for the meantime to see if she was apprentice worthy.

Meanwhile, the Separatist forces regrouped and reorganized and began to mobilize their troops for a second assault against the republic forces, particularly the cannons the clones had, and marched under the command of General Whorm Loathsom and with a sheild generator protecting them from the cannon fire. Anakin and Ahsoka did an infiltration mission where they snuck behind the shields to destroy the generator while Kenobi and the other clones set up to hold off the Separatist forces until they shields were down. After sneaking past their tanks and troops, Ahsoka and Anakin eventually made it to the shield generator where they found it unguarded at first but, were soon ambushed by Retail droids after Ahsoka stepped on one of them accidently and it got up and the other droids that were hidden also rose up and began attacking the two Jedi. Ahsoka set up the charges while Anakin delt with the droids and she saw him surrounded by the Retail droids and she destroyed them by force pulling a wall down on them which had a hole that Anakin was on top of so he survived when it fell.

She succeeded in her mission as the shield generator was destroyed right when the Separatist forces were ready to wipe out the remaining clone forces and their entire unit was eventually destroyed with the cannons destroying all of the droids and tanks. Kenobi had eventually captured General Loathsom and the republic had won a major victory on Christophsis and the remaining Confederate forces eventually withdrew from the planet and fled back to other parts of the Outer Rim that were under their control. After the battle was won, Anakin had said how Ahsoka was reckless and wouldn't have survived as Obi-Wan's padawan but, she'd make it as his and so she was accepted in and officially became Anakin's padawan.

Battle of Teth and Jabba's son[]

Shortly after the Battle of Christophsis, Anakin and Ahsoka were called in by Grand Master Yoda where it was revealed that Jabba the Hutt's son, Rotta, was kidnapped by Separatists and Confederate forces had taken over Teth and were keeping Rotta there. The Separatist had planned on using Rotta in an attempt to secure access to Hutt space deep in the Outer Rim Territories by blaming the Republic for the kidnapping. Ahsoka went with Anakin to Teth where the Republic troops came under fire by a batallion of Separatist troops that had already stationed themselves deep within the B'omarr Monastery and the clones were forced to land on the surface below and climb up to the monastery to take it while under heavy fire from the Separatist droids.

Ahsoka and Anakin went up with the clone forces as they helped them advance under the cover of Separatist fire with support from AT-TE walkers while heading up the mountain to reach the monastery. Both of the Jedi were doing a little game during the battle where Anakin was able to get to the top of the mountain first using a STAP that he hijacked during the battle and flew to the top of the mountain and wiped out the droid squadron on top. He was then confronted with a squadron of Droidekas but they were destroyed by an AT-TE walker that Ahsoka was on. The clones eventually made it to the top of the mountain and made their way inside the monastery to find Rotta while Asajj Ventress waited until Separatist reinforcements would eventually arrive. The droid was revealed to be 4A-7 who lead the Jedi padawan and her master to the location of Rotta and after getting through more droids, they found Rotta who turned out just to be a baby.

Anakin and Ahsoka took Rotta and began to try to deliver him back to his father, Jabba, while 4A-7 monitored their conversation to the Dark Acolyte, Asajj Ventress, and she gave them to Count Dooku who presented the footage as "evidence" of the Jedi kidnapping Jabba's son. The Jedi soon ran into a situation where the little hutt was sick and droid reinforcements were arriving on Teth and they needed to find a way to get off of Teth and escape towards Tatooine while Ahsoka was tasked with carrying Rotta. While attempting to escape from Teth onboard a Venator-class Star Destroyer, the Spirit of the Republic, when its hanger was destroyed before they could land and thus, traveled to Tatooine on their own with an old frieghter to deliver Rotta to Tatooine themselves. Rotta was eventually saved with medical supplies that were on board.

The Twilight eventually made its way to the desert world before it was shot down by MagnaGuards and crash landed in the Dune Sea. The two Jedi survived and went on foot to deliver Rotta back to his father. Upon arrival, Ahsoka had wanted to know about Anakin's past as he grew up on Tatooine but he refused to do so and the two Jedi moved on when they had sensed a trap. The two of them separated with Ahsoka taking the Huttlet and Anakin facing off against the Sith Lord, Count Dooku, who was behind the conspiracy the whole entire time. During her trip, Tano was confronted by three MagnaGuards and beat them single-handedly. She then arrived at the location of the palace and delivered Rotta back into Jabba's hands before Skywalker could be executed for the false belief that the Jedi had kidnapped his son but, his son was handed back to him and Naboo Senator Padme Amidala via hologram had revealed the confession of Jabba's uncle, Ziro, admitting that he kidnapped Rotta. Afterwards, Jabba had allowed safe passage of Republic forces through Hutt Space in the Outer Rim and promised that Dooku would be punished for his crimes. Ziro was then severely punished by the Hutts and both Anakin and Ahsoka were picked up off of Tatooine by Yoda.

Post-Tatooine battles []

Following the mission to Tatooine, Ahsoka would engage on many battles across the galaxy against the Separatist forces throughout the early stages of the Clone Wars. Following her return from Tatooine, Ahsoka had traveled to worlds such as Gwori where the Republic was successful in sabotaging the production of ships and cruisers for the Confederate Navy and later took part in a battle to destroy the Separatist superweapon, the Malevolance, and later guarded a captured Nute Gunray before he was rescued by the Dark Acolyte, Asajj Ventress. She then went to the lush world of Naboo where Ahsoka lead a Republic assault and were able to prevent a vast Separatist conspiracy to unleash a weaponized Blue Shadow Virus amongst the peaceful residents of Naboo and other worlds within the Republic as well. Early on in the war, Ahsoka had met Grievous and Ventress in combat with the latter being a common rival for the Togruta padawan while also making friends within the order.

Early Outer Rim missions[]

Mission to Quell and Maridun[]

Sometime during the early stages of the war, the Outer Rim world of Quell was invaded by the Separatists and it soon found itself overrun and conquered by the Separatist forces who quickly decimated the Republic defenses. Jedi Master Aayla Secura had soon found herself cornered after her fleet had been ambsuhed and destroyed by Confederate naval forces which forced her to call out for help. Help soon came via Anakin Skywalker and the Twi'lek Jedi was saved and made it down to the lower levels of her battered and beaten Venator. Ahsoka was present at the time and took part in an assault on Aayla's cruiser to get her out and destroy the droid boarding parties that were present. Ahsoka eventually caught up to Aayla and a Consular-class cruiser began parking in the botton of Aayla's venator. The strike team eventually made it down to the hanger when the ship began to fall apart and Anakin was injured trying to prevent the blasts from getting into the Consular cruiser.

Ahsoka was horrified and managed to get an injured Anakin back into the ship with the help of Aayla and had him immediately put into the medical bay as the ship began to escape in a rushed and panic escape and jumped into hyperspace and eventually crash landed on Maridun. Anakin was watched over by Rex while Ahsoka went out with Aayla and Bly to see fi they could find anyway to find form of help. During that time wild beasts attack them all but are eventually beaten and a small Lurmen village is eventually discovered. Ahsoka begs the inhabitants for help and they eventually allow Anakin to come in and get treated by orders of the village leader, Tee Watt Kaa, and sends his son, Wag Too, to treat Anakin back to health. The Jedi and clones spend sometime on Maridun in the village until a Separatist ship is stopped forcing them all to leave the village while Separatist ground troops land being led by Neimodian General Lok Durd.

The Jedi and Clones hid in the fields but were soon spotted by a Separatist probe droid and decided to find where their base was located at knowing that their presence on the planet was no longer a secret. A shuttle was found in the base and they eentually found out that a new weapon was made and it had the ability to wipe out all organic beings and leave droids untouched. Realizing that the Lurmen village will be wiped out, the Jedi found out that shield generators were present and broke into the base to steal them and a shuttle as well and went back to warn the village of the threat and later put up baracades and defended the Lurmen when the Separatists began to attack them. A fight soon broke out and Ahsoka went on the defensive and fell back to the village after Separatist droids made it past the Jedi and marched into the village and began attacking it. Wag Too got invovled along with his friends and they pinned down many droids to which Ahsoka destroyed with her lightsaber right after Anakin destroyed the Defoliator and captured both Lok Durd and Pune Zignat, the Defoliator manager. Republic forces eventually found all of them and rescued them shortly after the battle.

First Battle of Ryloth[]

During the early days of the Clone Wars, Separatist Council member and Techno Union Foreman Wat Tambor had set his sights on the Twii'lek homeowrld of Ryloth and quickly had it invaded and placed under a Separatist military occupation. Due to the poor conditions of Ryloth, many of the Twi'leks celebrated while others didn't and those who wouldn't accept the Separatist military presence were punished with imprisonment and slavery. A small Republic force was present on the planet but was wiped out and so, reinforcements were called in. Ahsoka took part in the battle of Ryloth where she lead a small strike force to attack the Separatist blockade around the planet and was the first mission that she went on without the need for Anakin to be there.

At first, Ahsoka was succeeding as she managed to make it past the Vulture Droids and the other pilots kep the fighters occupied which gave them an opening to go right towards the Separatist command ship. This however, was a trap set up by the Separatist Admiral, Mar Tuuk, who called in four more Munificent-class firgates and Ahsoka and her squad were eventually cut off and surrounded. The young Jedi was eventually forced to retreat as her squad was cut off and was being shot down one by one and the invasion fleet was also being bombarded and overrun. Ahsoka eventually made it back to her ship but, almost lost her entire squad and had immense guilt upon her return. Ahsoka however, managed to recovery and was eventually put in charge of destroying the Separatist blockade after Anakin would use a damanged Republic ship and ram it into the blockade's command ship. Much to her fortune, the plan worked and the remnants of the Republic fleet were able to take down the Separatist blockade and clear a path for ground troops led by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu to land on Ryloth and liberate the planet.

While Obi-Wan and Windu lead the ground assault, Ahsoka ended up regrouping with her master in order to clear the skies of Ryloth which were still dominated by the Separatist forces. The Torgutan padawan and her master fought the remaining Confederate ships and eventually turned their attention to the Hyena-Class Bombers which began destroying Twi'lek villages all over Ryloth in response to the Republic victory over the planet as part of a scortched earth policy. When the capital city of Lessu was under Republic assault and droid bombers were on arrival and were ready to destroy the capital city when Anakin and Ahsoka came in right on time and destroyed the bombers finally securing a republic victory over Ryloth and liberated the planet.

Second Battle of Geonosis[]

In late 22 BBY, the Outer Rim world of Geonosis had risen up once again and the republic was forced to invade the planet again in order to retake it from the Geonosians who rose up in favor of the Separatists. Ahsoka joined the battle along with Anakin after the two returned from a battle near the planet of Dorin in which the two played a game comparing the number of droids fighters and forces that they destroyed, a game that Anakin on average would win constantly. Ahsoka was later debriefed on the mission at hand which required that the republic launch a three-war assault to divide the Separatist forces and allow their troops to piush forward to the droid foundry that Poggle the Lesser was operating and used to mass-produce legions of battle droids for the Separatist Droid Army.
