Koro Shimti descended calmly the ladder and landed with a little jump on the wet floor.
Lighs were still on, thus water had not yet reached the electrical panel of the level. Koro thanked heaven and walked briskly towards the water tanks.
As what the commander had told him, the captain Izidor, the tanks were at the end of that service corridor, protected by a sealed door. A sealed door that someone had left open.

Unexpectedly Koro stumbled over something and he risked to fall due to the water, but his reflexes kept him standing. What's this? he asked himself, and looking down he noticed barely a wrench stuck in a fissure of the corroded floor.
