Adrian Kelrune was a Human male.

Biography[]

Early life and Jedi training[]

Adrian Kelrune was born in approximately 4,010 BBY. He spent his early days on Brentaal (sometimes called Brentaal IV), but it is unknown whether his actual birthplace was on the planet. Kelrune was discovered to be Force-sensitive and was taken into the Jedi Order. Kelrune had a thirst for knowledge from the earliest moments of his learning to read, and it was reported that he read over anything else, and asked for Holocrons, but was denied them due to his young age.

Kelrune was trained on the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, but he was also deemed worthy to go to the Jedi Enclave on the planet Dantooine. The Enclave was built inside a cave with lots of crystals which were vital for the making of lightsabers. Kelrune was a model student, and it was believed that he would ascend at least to the Jedi Council, if not {{|sw|Grand Master|Grandmaster}}.

Kelrune studied under a multitude of Jedi Masters, but he was growing hungry to be given a chance to fight in the Old Sith Wars. He was denied this, due to his young age (Kelrune was only fourteen when the wars ended in 3996 BBY). Just four years later, Kelrune was appointed to the position of Jedi Knight, a testament to his maturity and skill level.

The Mandalorian Wars[]

In 3976 BBY, the Mandalorian warrior culture invaded territories owned by the Galactic Republic in the Outer Rim. The Mandalorians were beating the Republic's foces, but something would happen that would turn the tide. In 3964 BBY, An individual known as Revan was angry that the Order would not involve itself in the conflict, and he began to argue that the Order should participate. He gained numerous followers, known as Revanchists, and Kelrune was one of these.

Revan liked Kelrune, and made him third-in-command behind himself and a friend of his, Alek. At first, the Revanchists engaged in scouting missions, and while they never gained the full support of the Order, they were allowed to join the Republic military, under the Republic Mercy Corps. Kelrune saw the massacre of the Cathar.

The Revanchists did very well, and they defeated the Mandalorians in the final battle of the war in 3960 BBY. Many Revanchists went to the dark side of the Force over the course of the coming year, following Revan and Malak as they became Dark Lords of the Sith together. Kelrune did not follow, although Revan attempted to persuade him to.
