Acina Lambert was a female Human/Twi'lek hybrid born on Lok a few weeks after the Purge of Taspir III and was the third child of Lexi and Benjamin Lambert and the younger sister of Ben and Alucia Lambert.
Acina was named after Empress Acina, ostensibly as a show of loyalty on Lexi's part after she exposed her husband as a 'traitor', although in truth Lexi simply liked the name.
Growing up, Acina struggled to get along with other children and preferred her own company, though showed an exceptional aptitude for learning when a teaching method was found that suited her.
Unlike her siblings, Acina was a child prodigy. She learned remarkably fast, becoming a competent Force user and duellist by the age of six, although due to her young age she lacked the physical strength and the honed Force talents that would allow her to compete with others. When she was seven years old, she crept into her father's office seeking out technical information on lightsaber construction, which she used in an attempt to build her own, though she was interrupted by her adoptive mother before she could complete it.
Her father examined her work, and though it would have failed to activate on completion Benjamin was impressed enough to allow her to try again, though with his oversight and guidance, creating a simple, neat weapon with a blue blade that matched the design of her elder sibling's.
By the age of thirteen, Acina had all but mastered Shii-Cho and was a skilled practitioner of Soresu training in Djem So to complement the defensive capabilities of form III. As a token of his faith in his daughter's dedication and her level-headed personality, Benjamin provided Acina with a synthetic lightsaber crystal that produced a white blade, similar to the crystal used in his own sabre.
In 36 ATC, Acina Lambert experienced a vision of her older brother's capture at the hands of the Sith Lord Sera Artofen during a training duel with her father, which she kept secret, knowing he would not allow her to help. Instead, she travelled to Ilum, alone, to try and stop her vision coming true, but only found the remains of two of Artofen's Sith minions. She contacted her parents, asking them to join her so that she could use her adoptive mother's psychometry ability to determine what had happened, learning through her that Ben had indeed been captured by the Dark Lord.
Unable to help him without knowing more, Benjamin and Aaellu escorted Acina back home, only for her to sneak away again, seeking out of her uncle on Dromund Kaas, where she learned that Sera Artofen was on Som Galla. Her uncle prevented her from leaving to find the Dark Lord, however, and informed her parents about her second escapade, agreeing to look after her on Dromund Kaas until it was safe to escort her off-world undetected.
Eventually, however, Acina was able to slip away from her uncle's home, leaving Dromund Kaas and finding transportation to Som Galla, where the locals pointed her to Sera Artofen's estate. When she arrived, she attacked Artofen, beginning a duel that caught the Sith by surprise due to the early hour, thankfully keeping her on the defensive for long enough to wake Ben. Interrupting the duel, Ben explained that he wasn't a prisoner as she'd feared and had chosen to stay on the volcanic world.
Ignoring her protestations, Ben told Acina to go home and sent her away with enough credits to get her back home. While lingering in the estate garden trying to decide her next move, Acina experienced another of her visions, this time showing Ben and Sera, the latter free of the Dark Side's corruption and heavily pregnant. Assured her brother was as safe as he claimed, she returned home as requested, reporting her findings- and visions- to her father.
Acina's actions in the search for her brother, along with her maturity and skills, convinced her father to permit her to join the attack on the Dromund Forge in 37 ATC. Hours before the battle, Acina experienced another vision showing her two possible outcomes. In the first, the then-Sith Emperor, Darth Vokuur, killed many of Acina's friends and family before being defeated, which also extended the naval engagement taking place outside the station. She also saw the lives that would never exist at all if the vision in question came to pass, many of whom were her own nieces and nephews.
In the second, Acina faced him herself, dying but taking the Sith Emperor down with her, thus sparing her loved ones and ending the battle sooner, saving hundreds of pilots' lives on both sides in addition to those on the station. Knowing this, Acina joined the other attackers aboard the station and made a point of racing ahead of them to find Darth Vokuur as soon as possible, eventually reaching him at the same time as her mother.
When Aaellu was knocked aside, Sera Artofen had caught up and attempted to save Acina, providing a key drain on Vokuur's resources before she was too weak to continue fighting, a drain that ultimately ensured Acina could take him down with her when she stepped in and took over. During the struggle against Vokuur, Acina took the time to look to the spot where she knew- thanks to her vision- her father would eventually stand when he re-watched her final moments via the flow-walking technique, smiling at him one final time before the strain became too much for her.
Aaellu ensured Acina's body was taken from the Dromund Forge before its destruction, after which she was given a state funeral on Coruscant, with military and Jedi personnel gathering to honour her sacrifice. Her name was included on a memorial dedicated to those who'd died to destroy the Dromund Forge.
Acina's 'aunts', Zhavi and Isla Waverunner, named their firstborn child, Acina Waverunner, after their fallen niece, continuing the Waverunner family tradition of naming at least one child in each generation of the family after Republic heroes. Alucia paid tribute to her sister by dyeing her hair white like Acina's, something she continued to do for the rest of her life, the regular redyeing of her hair being a way to ensure she could never forget her little sister.
Shortly after her death, Benjamin and Aaellu entered a deep meditation to reach out to Acina through the Force. They were successful, but only briefly, with Acina ominously warning them to treasure what they had, as they would not be able to take it with them on the long and difficult journey that lay ahead of them. Acina's final vision of the future would never be understood, however, even after the events she had foreseen had passed, though she left the pair with an assurance that she had no regrets, and loved them both dearly.
Acina's lightsaber was interred in her tomb after her death, along with her robes, the only objects contained within after she became one with the Force and her body faded from existence.
