CT-1995, later ARC-1995 and better known as Ace, was a Republic clone captain, and later a reputed bounty hunter who often took contracts from the Hutt clans, Black Sun as well as the Rebellion.
Biography[]
Known for his great respect of Jedi, Ace was a squad commander of the 501st Battalion. Bravo Company were his men, but he preferred to worked alone, or with his friend, Jedi Knight Cadel Banee. As such, when Order 66 was issued, he did not comply with the order. Him an three other clones from Bravo Company—Longshot, Tank, Hunter, and Banee—became a bounty hunting team. They owned a ship called the Broken Dawn II, a heavily modified G9 Rigger freighter. The ship would later become home to the crew of bounty hunters.
Republic service[]
Battle of Muunilinst[]
During the battle, then-Sergeant Ace and his squad of seven were deployed to fight in the main battle, where he proved himself to be a far above average soldier. This was his first encounter with a Jedi, having seen Obi-Wan Kenobi effortlessly cut down several droids in mere seconds during the battle.
Battle of Christophsis[]
During the Battle of Christophsis, Ace and his squad was on the western flank and were a fall back plan in case Anakin and Ahsoka failed to complete their mission to destroy the shield, in which case it was up to Ace and his team to complete the Jedi's mission. Bravo Company was not hit as hard as Torrent Company, but still has several casualties.
Battle of Teth[]
During the Battle of Teth, Ace fought alongside Captain Rex and Torrent Company, and when they returned to get supplies, Asajj Ventress had arrived with more troops. When Ace returned, his ship was shot down by the droid army. He survived, along with Longshot, Tank, and Hunter. The three called themselves the "Lucky Four", and they then "adopted" a G9 rigger freighter and renamed it the Broken Dawn II, naming it after the gunship that was shot down.
Second Battle of Geonosis[]
During the battle, Ace and his company were assigned to defend the rear command center. The droids attacked the command center. The company was hit hard and the original captain, CC-1417, better known as Buzzer, was killed. Cadel promoted Ace to the position of captain after the battle. He often read ARC trooper level combat training manuals in his time off to make him better in combat, He soon became an official ARC trooper after he almost single handedly defended a Republic outpost on Umbara.
Battle of Umbara[]
During the battle Ace was assigned a new squad of rookies, and assigned a small outpost, but soon an entire Battalion of B-1 Battle droids as well as a squad of Commando droids were sent to take the outpost, He gathered his company of about 100 men to defended the outpost. Ace's inexperienced crew managed to defend the outpost, sadly nearly the entire squad was killed, aside from Ace and his surviving squad mates who were able to beat the odd and fend off a full battalion of droids. For his outstanding service he was promoted to ARC Trooper and revived a new armor.
Order 66[]
Ace and Bravo company fought on meany fronts and his respect for the Jedi grew with every battle. He was on Kashyyyk when the Chancellor demanded him to execute Order 66, he responded negatively despite Palpatine's message being a one way transmission. He then smuggled Cadel Banee and his apprentice Juna Kallo cruiser and escaped on the Broken Dawn II and Cadel's starfighter and a Z-95 headhunter, as well as a large amount of guns and ammunition.

Finally in the outer rim Ace and the crew unsure of what to do, Tank suggested they become soldiers of fortune. Arriving on Nar Shaddaa, he encountered Obi-Wan Kenobi, and helped him get to Tatooine with the baby Luke Skywalker, Kenobi reluctantly told him what had happened at the Temple and on Mustafar. Ace and his crew were shocked to hear of Anakin's treason but also relived to know that Yoda and Kenobi had both survived. Ace developed a very anti-Imperial stance and would never take a bounty that would help the Empire.
Mercenary life[]
New armor[]
Ace's clone armor had begun to fall apart, the armor was five years old and had seen a lot of action in the clone Army and as a mercenary. During a mission to deliver supplies to a colony on Mandalore's moon Concordia, Ace found Sevreal sets of authentic Mandalorian armor he repainted them blue to honor his service inh the 501'st and began using them as his own. But later gave one to Cadel and each member of his team.
Helping the young Alliance[]
Ace and his crew would often take contracts from the Rebel Alliance, even reconnoitering to help find a location for a base. The intelligence they provided proved crucial in setting up Echo Base. They also killed several high profile Imperials including a Grand Admiral, several generals and senators. During this time most of the crew had ether bee killed or retired and
Legacy[]
Cadel and Ace Remained a pair of effective bounty hunters well in to the days of the New Republic and its following Governments, after the Second Galactic Civil war Ace began to lessen his hatred of the Fel empire.
Personality and traits[]
Ace was a strong and silent person who rarely told anyone what he was thinking. The only people he trusted were Longshot, Tank, Hunter, Cadel and his closest "brother" Scraper (CT-1996), who died during the Second Battle of Geonosis. Ace was a very skilled tactician, combatant and a capable pilot.
Defective growth[]
Ace had execrated growth which oddly stopped aging at a double speed once he finished puberty at 19 physical years old, thus making him technically the youngest clone on the battlefield during the Clone Wars and the only one with the chance to live a full life.
Weapons and equipment[]
Ace always kept a pair of DC-17 hand blasters, as well as DC-15A blaster rifle during his service as a Republic trooper. When he became a bounty hunter, he increased his arsenal to include: Two DL-44 blaster pistols, an E-3 blaster rifle, an E11 blaster rifle, a BAW E-5 blaster rifle and WESTAR 35 blaster pistols.
