- In the N'Akkiarl Galaxy a N'Akkiarlian research flight finds the ice planet of Huukeltelax, in the outer part of the Galactic Rim, the planet is colonised by N'Akkiarlian Special Forces, who set up a black ops genetic research base on the planet in a covert operation to create an army of super-soldiers. On the other side of the world the only known (by most) settlement is founded, Port Huukeltelax. The planet held the distinction of being the furthest reach of the N'Akkiarlian Star Empire (excluding planets temporarily captured by the N'Akkiarlian Star Empire during the Great N'Akkiarlian War of 1,000 ABY).
