Early life[]

69LightCycle

69 was a Program/Human born in 20 BBY on the Outer Rim Territories world of Cyboria. It was a world covered in one gird. 69 was born during Clu 2's evil reign, and was trained since birth to fight. He trained with Elite Guard cadets at Clu 2's Headquarters in Tron City. He also was a famous Light Cycle rider, and fought in many arena matches against other programs. He became well known on Cyboria, and later as he was sent on missions around the system's planets and the nearby planets, he became famed throughout the sector. The sector was ruled by the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and the CIS navy Admiral stationed there knew of 69 and asked Clu 2 if he could use 69 for several missions, but Clu 2 refused, so the CIS and Clu 2's empire became enemies.

A Rising Assassin[]

There's nothing more foolish than gambling with a Jedi, there's nothing more beautiful than a Zeltron, and there's nothing more dangerous than picking a fight with Assassin 69. I'd rather fight a Bull Rancor than him.
—An unidentified smuggler in a Coruscant underlevels cantina

69 was a rising assassin in the final year of the Clone Wars, now traveling to planets in other sectors. In one mission, he was sent to Coruscant and had a duel with Jango Fett, and it was a victory for 69, because he threw a light disc at Fett's jetpack, causing him to fall down into the underlevels, but Fett managed to survive and was picked up by his partner, assassin Zam Wesel. 69 completed the mission, killing a small time criminal attempting to give important information away to a Republic Intelligence agent in one of the planet's cantinas. Back in his sector, he also preformed many missions against CIS troops, forcing the Separatists to abandon the sector to not lose anymore soldiers or ships.

A New Empire[]

Republic, Confederacy, Empire. Why don't they just stick with something.
—69 after the Galactic Republic's downfall

69 was on Coruscant when he heard the Galactic Emperor Palpatine on the Holonet proclaim that the Republic is now the Galactic Empire. Seeing no difference between the Republic and Empire, 69 didn't care which government ran the galaxy, but he only cared about his target not getting away. Back in the sector, Clu 2's empire was falling. While 69 was away on a mission, a group of rioters and rebels broke into his base. His guards killed hundreds of them, but they killed the guards and then broke into Clu 2's chambers and killed him in his sleep. When he heard about the fall of Clu's Empire, 69 also heard that the rebels and dissidents also were going to kill him if he returned. Though he knew that he could kill all of them without a scratch, 69 decided to stay away from that sector, and then went down to the underlevels to find a job.

Bypass Years[]

For several years leading up to the Battle of Yavin, 69 had several missions to Kothlis, Yavin, Commenor, Clak'dor V, Rhen Var, and Mustafar. It wasn't until 2 ABY, the hight of the Galactic Civil War, 69 was hired for a mission against the Alliance High Command of the Rebel Alliance. He was sent to the world of Commenor, to steal a code disc with blueprints of the new Rebel X-wings. That was when he met the Zeltron assassin Quorra.

Against The Alliance[]

69vsRebelHonorGuard

69 duels a Rebel Honor Guardsmen in the Rebel base.

When arriving on Commenor in his light fighter, he landed on a small cliff away from the Rebel base. After several minutes, he preceded to the base. On his way there, 69 heard a noise and saw CloakShape fighter land in the distance, also near the base. 69 knew that the Rebellion didn't use CloakShapes and didn't park their fighters a quarter mile away from their base, so it must of been another bounty hunter. 69 walked on to the base. After entering the base through a small vent, he preceded to the storage room where the blueprints to the Alliance vehicles were kept. He was careful though, because members of the Alliance High Command were visiting and they brought a platoon of Rebel Honor Guards. 69 continued down the corridors. Then, the alarm went off. But 69 was relieved after he heard the intercom. They said that a Zeltron assassin broke into the opposite side of the base, heading towards the storage. When he reached the storage room, he went in and was about to grab the blue print when he heard the cock of a blaster behind him. The Zeltron, who was a female, came out and threatened him with it. He told her who he was and his mission, and then they decided to work together to get out of the base. The two left down a corridor, but then an Honor Guard came to them. The Zeltron, named Quorra, told him the location of her ship and took the shipment of weapons and blueprints with her, and ran towards another exit. Meanwhile, 69 engaged the Honor Guard in a duel. After a couple minutes, the Honor Guard was dead. 69 raced back to where Quorra said her CloakShape was, the Immobilizer. He boarded the ship and they sped to Tatooine first so Quorra could drop off her shipment.

Drop Off[]

When they landed, the two went to the cantina where Quorra's client was waiting, and Quorra went to meet him while 69 bought himself a drink. The client told Quorra that sense he was low on credits, he had to pay her less to keep his own business running. Then, 69 came and the client saw him, he poured thousands of credits into Quorra's bag, and then ran out of the cantina. 69 asked what that was about, and Quorra said it was nothing, and the two left to Coruscant for 69 to deliver the blueprints.

Coruscant[]

Afterwards, the two flew to Coruscant where 69 headed down to a cantina to drop off the blue prints to his contact. After that, the two then got another job: to assassinate a Black Sun lieutenant. The two headed to Bestine, where the Black Sun base was located.
