- Republic of Euphosia: In the Western Colonies of the Zarkan Kingdom local Aerman land owner Robertson Edwins has a disagreement with the colonial governor over land rights. As a result he forms his own nation, named after the river Euphos that flows through his colony. The Zarkan Empire comes to an agreement allowing him to run his Republic of Euphosia as an autonomous colony.
