• The Williamston Riot, financially destitute working class laborers begin a riot in Williamston, the capital of the Union of Earth States. President Edward Fox Drayman promises to do what he can to assist them.
• Traders' Street Massacre: A failed daylight bank robbery at the Traders' Street Bank in Fort Frontier, Republic of Valand results in the deaths of twelve employees and several members of law enforcement, the robbers flee down Traders' Street and a running gun battle ensues, killing a further twenty-one members of the Police. The robbers are finally cornered and killed in a desperate last stand. The news shocks the nation of Valand.
