4-LOM was a bounty-hunting protocol droid. He was the Lieutenant of Hacking in The Gang. He was destroyed by Boba Fett, but was rebuilt by Zuckuss.

Duel with Fett[]
4-LOM, in his earliest days as a Hunter took a mission that was also being pursued by Boba Fett. His orders were to hunt down and kill, by whatever means necessary the Trandoshan rebel commander Vosska. 4-LOM had tracked Vosska down to a small cantina on Tatooine, located in a small town where noone would be too shaken by the death of a stranger. However, as he approached his quarry he noticed the distinctive armor of the Mandalorian Boba Fett. Thinking on his feet he approached the Hunter, challenging him to a one-on-one duel outside the cantina.
In the ensuing chaos Vosska escaped, and Boba Fett practically dismantled the entire droid with his bare hands, embarrassing the hunter, and causing him to alter his appearance as to avoid being linked with the failure of his early mission.
