The 38th Werda Legion was a legion in the 15th Defense Corps. It was led by Jedi General Pyrn Werd and senior clone commander C-2612 "Prudii". General Werd and nearly two regiments of the legion were lost in the disastrous Battle of Leziquk. In Mando'a, werda is an archaic word for "shadow", as in Dha Werda Verda. The troopers chose the name partly because of its coincidental similarity to their Jedi General's name.
