The 321st corps was an elite clone unit that was often assigned to defensive missions. They were deployed to government officials and outer rim planets. After their leader, Pike betrayed the republic they temporarily served under Jedi. After Pike returned and regained the republic's trust he continued to lead them. Eventually, they were stationed on an outpost that protected the planet Bortras Which was secretly developing more advanced weapons. The Confederacy of Independent Systems figured out about this and launched an assault on the base. Though the 321st did put up a fight, considering they had access to the advanced weaponry they were all killed leaving no prisoners
