- Gothriko discovered by Ostik Stathu
- Samuel Sutton, who was insane and delusion and believed himself to be the "Liberator of the Colonies", comes close to assassinating King Daniel Zarkan IV of the Zarkan Kingdom, he is stopped at the last minute when Daniel's motorcade turns out of his line of fire.
- Princess Jane Zarkan gives birth to her daughter, Jane Zarkan II, at the age of 30.
- The nationalist Westian National People's Party (Westian: Vestlandsk Nasjonal Folkepartei; VNFP) receives the most votes in Westland's General Election of 31 BBY, forming a majority in the Westian Parliament.
- Angry at the victory of the VNFP, hard-line supporters of the ousted Socialist Party attempt to form a breakaway state - the All-Westian Social Republic of the South-East, a move not supported by the majority of the Socialist Party, including the Party's leadership.
- Not wishing to be seen as tyrannical, the VNFP attempts to negotiate with the break-away state. The negotiations come to nothing.
- The VNFP declare all supporters of the South-Eastern Social Republic to be traitors, and deploy the Royal Westian Army to bring an end to the state by force. The state's supporters are easily defeated, and the state's governing body and leadership are all imprisoned for treason.
- North Mustafarian's forces are defeated on Mustafar
- The Zarkanian National League (ZNL) forges an alliance with the Movement for Zarkanian National-Folkism (MZNF), the other largest nationalist party in the Zarkan Kingdom.
