- Pumbli discovers and frees his his apprentice Oblivius on Nal Hutta
- The Trade Federation raised taxes on Uman Rai.
- The Force power Force translate was discovered.
- Daniel Zarkan IV, King of the Zarkan Kingdom and Emperor of the Zarkan Empire, is assassinated by an insane Samuel Sutton on Parliament Square whilst on his way to attend a session of the Zarkanian Parliament, Sutton is imprisoned pending trial.
- Queen Rowena IX, wife of Daniel Zarkan IV is expected to rule the Zarkan Empire alone following the murder of her husband. The week following Daniel's murder she shocks the nation by abdicating her own throne in favor of her daughter, Jane Zarkan. Rowena issues an apology to her adoring subjects asking for forgiveness, stating that she considers herself incapable of ruling effectively due to her depression following Daniel's murder.
- Lady Jane Zarkan gives up her position as the Vicereine of the Viceroyalty of Albert's Land, which she was appointed to in 33 BBY, in preparation for being made Queen.
- Elegy For Daniel IV Rex is composed by Reginald Laramie Peticolas, who will later go on to become one of the most renowned composers of the Confederate States of Earth.
- Composition of Her Imperial Majesty the Queen Jane Zarkan's Coronation March by noted composer Alexander Wimborne.
- Jane Zarkan is crowned Queen Jane Zarkan I of the Zarkan Kingdom, and Empress Jane Zarkan I of the Zarkan Empire.
- The members of the Zarkanian National League, the largest nationalist party in the Zarkan Kingdom, swear oaths of fealty to their new queen. Queen Jane, a nationalist herself, is offered the position of the spiritual head of the party - she happily accepts. The ZNL's Protection Brigade is permitted to take part in the celebratory parade following Jane's coronation.
- Anders R. Richmond, a prominent composter of the ZNL, and a member of the ZNL's Protection Brigade, composes the Jane I Regina Quick March to celebrate Jane's coronation.
- Samuel Sutton goes on trial for High Treason and Regicide. His rambles insanely during the trial. The jury delivers a guilty verdict after only two minutes of deliberations.
- Samuel Sutton is executed on Zarkania Square for Regicide. He is given the traditional punishment for Regicides - Quartered by means of having the limbs pulled off, which is performed by four armored cars driving in opposite directions.
- Kieran Lamb is elected to the position of Union President in the Union of Earth States Presidential election, 28 BBY, replacing Anderson Kinley, who was elected in 40 BBY.
