22K was the callsign for an ARC Trooper in the Clone Wars. He was unusual for an ARC, because when he became a captain, he abandoned his kama.
Biography[]
Training[]
22K began training on Kamino in 32 BBY, like all clones. When he reached five chronological years of age, he began training with Jango Fett to become an ARC Trooper. The intinsive training provided him with the skills he would need to survive the intense battles of the Clone Wars.
First Battle of Kamino[]
Like all ARC Troopers, 22K was not at the Battle of Geonosis, and was not sent into Republic service until the First Battle of Kamino, where he served alongside Alpha-17, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Shaak Ti, and many other ARC Troopers. He survived the battle, and went on to fight many more battles in the Clone Wars.
Battle of Muunilinst[]
Later, 22K fought as a lieutenant in Captain Fordo's Muunilinst 10. He was the first out of their crashed gunship, and helped take out Separatist snipers. He was also responsible for destroying an AAT. He fought Durge and was wounded, but survived.
Battle of Hypori[]

When the Battle of Muunilinst ended, 22K was sent with the rest of the Muunilinst 10 to Hypori to rescue the Jedi being attacked by Grievous. During the battle, he wore a special prototype armor designed specifically to stop Grievous. He fired at Grievous with a Repciprocating Quad Blaster. When they retreated from Hypori, 22K helped treat the wounded Jedi. Afterwords, he was promoted to captain and left the Muunilinst 10.
Raid on Dantooine[]
Sometime during the Clone Wars, the Separatist Durge raided a base on Dantooine. A clone sergeant sent a call for help, and 22K responded. 22K, remembering Durge from Muunilinst, blasted the Gen'Dai point-blank several times, and the battle was won. 22K and CS-100 went to get another crew for the base, since all the clones there with the exception of CS-100 had been killed.
Battle of Dinlo[]
22K was later on Dinlo with the 41st's Sarlacc Battalion A and B, as the temporary commander for group B, when they were trapped on-planet. General Etain-Tur Mukan and the Fearless came to the rescue. 22K fought alongside Commander Gree during the battle, and when Commander Gett arrived in a LAAT/c gunship modified to evacuate the Sarlacc Battalions, 22K was the last trooper aboard the gunship. At the end of the battle, when kills were tallied up, it was figured that 22K killed over 100 droids just in the final stand. He was given a commendation for this.
Raid on the Kuat Refueling Station[]
Less than two weeks after the Battle of Dinlo, Separatist forces raided the Kuat Refueling and Resupply station. During the raid, the Separatists killed over one-fourth of the clone troopers, although 22K made it out alive, killing many Separatist mercenaries. The Republic forces then moved to Coruscant to inform Republic command of the incident.
Assassination of the Prime Minister[]

Five months after the Raid on the Kuat Station, 22K was sent, in clone assassin gear, to kill the Prime Minister of a Separatist world. 22K infiltrated the minister's palace, snapping the necks of two guards. Then, he sprinted down the huge halls. When he reached the Prime Minister's office, he jumped into the ventilation system, crawled inside the room, and silently cut the man's throat with his vibroblade. Then, he made a quick retreat. The Prime Minister's death was confirmed in a news report the next day.
Meeting Devena Blue[]
Later, 22K infiltrated the Separatist capital Raxus. A Zeltron female, who introduced herself as Devena Blue, offered to buy him a drink. He accepted reluctantly. When he wasn't looking, she slipped a love potion in his drink. Trained to resist such potions, 22K pretended that it worked, because he knew she was a Separatist agent. When they returned to his apartment, he pulled a blaster on her and interrogated her. She reluctantly gave out information that the Separatists were going to attack Naboo. 22K alerted Republic Intel, and they stopped the invasion fleet before it reached Naboo. 22K took Blue into custody.
A New Unit[]
Soon after his return from Raxus, 22K was transferred to the 43rd Combat Corps. Though he was at first confused by this, he accepted it, since he knew the fought on the frontline often, and he was tired of undercover missions. His confusion grew, however, when he arrived at their base and found Blue there. She said she'd been hired as a Republic Special Ops mercenary, and was assigned to the 43rd, too.
Blue's Obsession[]
22K and the 43rd fought in the Battle of Saleucami. During the battle, Blue was separated from the unit, and 22K was sent by General Eon to find her. Reluctantly, 22K complied. He found her standing over 10 battle droid husks, and holding off a super battle droid. He quickly killed the droid. Unfortunately, Blue, who had been flirting with him over the past weeks, took this to mean he liked her. When he told her he was just doing his duty, she upped her attempts to gain his love.
During a short relaxation break for the unit on the jungle moon Dxun, 22K entered the 43rd's camp after a quick jungle hunt. He saw the 43rd troopers gathering around a table, devouring food. As he was about to eat, he heard someone whistle to him. He turned around to see Blue wearing an extremely revealing bikini, and for a moment he gaped. Then, quickly, he grabbed a plate of food and ran to his tent, not glancing at her one more time.
Space Battle over Tatooine[]
22K served as Blue's tail gunner during the Space Battle over Tatooine. He shot down many fighters on their tail, although he briefly thought that being shot down by a Vulture droid would be less painful than having to endure her continuing flirtation. Along with Walon Vau, they escorted Delta Squad into the Separatist frigate, completing the mission.
Battle of Yaga Minor[]
Later, 22K fought in the battle of Yaga Minor with the 307th Medical Division and Jedi Generals Kento Marek and Mallie. He noted that Blue was taking interest in the two Jedi. He asked her why, and she replied that she'd tell if he'd kiss her. He muttered "never mind." The battle was won, and the 43rd and 307th went their separate ways.
Accepting Blue's Friendship[]
Unknown to 22K, Kento had used the Force to ease his tension toward Blue. He told her that he accepted her as a friend, and she reluctantly backed off her flirtatious mannerisms. They fought closely together for the remainder of the Clone Wars, and with each battle 22K grew closer to her, although he still insisted to other clones that she was only a friend.
Order 66[]
When Order 66 came in, 22K considered carrying it out, but as he raised his blaster, Blue stopped him. They, along with Eon, then fled from the 43rd troopers and escaped in a Separatist shuttle. 22K would later lament that worse things could've happened to him besides being a deserter.
On the Run[]
The group stole a SoruSuub yacht from a nearby town and flew it far away from the Republic, finally landing on the remote planet of Tatooine. 22K abandoned his armor, Dejah abandoned all her Republic SpecOps gear and dyed her hair pink, and Eon dumped his lightsaber. The three then made a living as mercenaries for hire.
