  • The defeat of the United Solar Federation and the Confederate victory in the Battle of Mars results in the Treaty of Mars.
  • Darth Envious is born.
  • Deyla Laakul is cryogenically frozen and sent off to random coordinates near the planet of Batuu.
  • As a result of the Treaty of Mars, Mars votes overwhelmingly in the Martian Independence Referendum to secede from the United Solar Federation and join the Solar Confederacy, the Republic of Mars is replaced with the Martian Confederacy.
  • The Republic launches a full-scale attack on Earth following their defeat two years previously, however the Republic is defeated once again, during the battle Jane Zarkan's flagship, the CSS Velociraptor, is destroyed and she transfers her flag to the CSS Independence, which becomes her new flagship.
  • Samuel Lorton composes A Nation's Mourning (A Eulogy To Our Nation's Defeat), a song revolving around the Union's defeat in the Earth Civil War.
  • Edward Fox Drayman, the sixth Union President from 48 BBY to 40 BBY, an ardent believer in Western Nationalism, and a Member of the Confederate Parliament, dies of Pneumonia at the age of 75. He receives a lavish state funeral at the behest of President Jane Zarkan herself. He becomes the first and only Union President to be laid to rest under a foreign flag.
  • Michael Yarwood composes the Elegy To Edward Fox Drayman, MCP.
  • In their first operation outside of the Solar System, the Confederate States captures a Republic listening post on the planet of Sulzen IV, in the nearby Sulzen System, the first operation of their short-lived Confederate Expeditionary Force.
  • The Sulzeni natives of Sulzen IV greet the Confederates as liberators for their assistance in the Sulzeni Rebellion.
  • The Techno Union Earth Division completes the Gungnir, the first member of the Gandr II-class Aerial Cruiser, an improved variant of the original Gandr-class, with significantly improved weapon systems and engine systems from the rest of the Galaxy, for the Empire of Leasath-Aurelia.
  • A small Republic force attempts to recapture the Sulzen IV listening post, but is defeated.
  • The King of the Sulzeni swears his fealty to Jane Zarkan in an audience with her.
  • Confederate scientists perform tests on the Sulzeni to learn about them.
  • Genetic testing reveals the Sulzeni to be genetically almost identical to the Humans, something which astonishes both the Confederates and the Sulzeni. The Sulzeni are in fact distant descendants of the N'Akkiarla, and are therefore directly related to Humanity, who are also distant descendants.
  • In response to the results of the genetic tests, the king of the Sulzeni proclaims that a brotherhood now exists between the Sulzeni and the Confederacy. The Sulzeni open an embassy in Zarkan City, the Confederate capital.
  • The Territory of the North-East is renamed Firwoods Territory.
  • The Union of Earth States passes the Western Trade Embargo Act in an attempt to prevent merchants and companies within the Union from trading with the Confederacy.
  • In response to the trade embargo the Yuktan Republic, whose merchants have a lucrative market in the Confederacy in which to sell the Silk that forms the bulk of Yuktani exports, secedes from the Union and declares herself a neutral party in order to sell Silk to both states.
  • The temporary Military Governorate of Northland is dissolved and replaced with the pro-Confederate collaborationist regime named the Independent National State of Northland.
  • Mace Windu survives his fall and later flees Coruscant to escape Order 66.
  • Palpatine executes Order 66.
  • The Galactic Empire replaces the Old Republic
  • The Imperial Legionnaires crime cartel is formed by former Clone trooper commando of the Galactic Republic's Ion Team, Sharp.
  • Nathaniel Kenobi selects Ada Fey'lya and Udo Rand as his padawans.
  • Kommud kills his fellow Jedi Oblivius on Coruscant
  • Rallis Tantor joins the Galactic Empire
  • Commander Ayre 080 forms The Outer Rim Squadron to combat the corrupt Galactic Empire
  • Lieutenant Striker is awarded the Republic Medallion of Valor by Chancellor Palpatine for bravery at the The Battle of Boz Pity
  • Darth Nyne wins the Undercity Cup. (Swoop Fight Tournament on Coruscant)
  • Darth Nyne joins Darth Havik as his apprentice.
  • Unit A-10 and his followers found the Droid Confederacy
  • The Steel Legion is formed.
  • The start of the Gungan-Ewok War. As Gungans were brought to Polis Massa for the new Imperial slave market.
  • The provisional West Soutalia Governorate is replaced with the Republic of Western Soutalia.
  • The Dark Guild is formed on Anarmar
  • Duvar Enego becomes the Supreme Judge of Anarmar
  • Iv'Iurius returns and becomes the Moff on Uthel.
  • The Confederacy of Independent Systems (Exiled) is formed.
  • The Republic Remnant is founded officially after the Empire is formed.
  • The Confederate Remnant is formed from the remnants of the Confederacy of Independent Systems by an alliance between Gizor Dellso, Toma, and Marath Vooro.
  • The Confederacy Reborn movement is founded by Admiral Zan Radek as an alliance of former CIS factions..
  • The Stealth Wars begin to take place in the Unknown Regions.
  • Temporary dissolution of the Catpire.
  • The Mentis platoon is decimated during the battle of Kashyyyk.
  • Richon Barcünaveris is captured by the Galactic Empire, and is pressed into Military Service as a Cryosolutions engineer in The Maw.
  • Far'katar Fazio and Thane flee to Dantooine
  • General Alix Balan of the Republic Liberation Army—a Separatist military unit of Republic defectors—established the Committee for Liberation of the Republic, later reforming it into the "New Republic". His New Republic is dissolved days later, when he was killed.
  • Ignan Volcovo duels against Darth Vader out of outrage.
  • Mace Windu begins preparations for a new Jedi Order, by recruiting allies, and gaining resources.
  • Bail Organa forms the Alderaan Resistance, and the Early Rebellion movement.
  • The Rend Collective Triumvirate is formed/established.
  • The Galactic Republic is reorganized
  • The 257th Legion is reorganized
  • The Grand Army of the Republic is reorganized into the Galactic Empire
  • The Clone Wars era ends

  • The Morsian Empire announces Morsian Order 66 sanctuary for Jedi who manage to survive the initial stages of Order 66, allowing them to hide and be protected within Morsian space.
  • Urde Ra'akdoon survives Order 66, saves the two Jedi with him, Seculoo Onderas and Gurtaka Kida, understands what Order 66 is and exiles himself with his legion, the 666th Legion, on Tokanga III.
  • Beginning of the Morsian-Imperial Proxy War.
  • The newly-founded First Galactic Empire nationalizes the Trade Federation, Techno Union, Commerce Guild, and Corporate Alliance, consolidating them into the Outer Rim Combine.
  • Kamino is destroyed.
  • Lama Su is arrested.
  • Death Watch is dissolved.
  • Wookiees are killed or enslaved, Kashyyyk is ruined.
  • Wookiees become prominent workers in the spice mines of Kessel.
  • The planet Ant-One is formed in the D16 Sector.
  • Following the defeat of the Separatist Alliance, embittered Separatist commander Antone Baziraldic and his loyal militia force form "A Galaxy Free From Coruscanti Oppression" (AGFFCO), a terrorist organization dedicated to destroying the Imperial Senate on Coruscant and breaking the centralized rule of the Galactic Empire, planning to restore the Confederacy once he does so. Antone recruits other enraged Separatist commanders and military units, as well as some disaffected formerly Republic ones, making AGFFCO a sizable rebel force in the Outer Rim.
