- The Great Tomanian Tornado: A massive Tornado carves a path of destruction across of a quarter of the Toman Republic. Towns and cities are devastated, and an estimated 4,380 are killed.
- Telson's Great Comet appears over Earth, Zarkanian astronomer Hereford Telson studies the comet and its trajectory, and it is thusly named in his honor. The comet doesn't reappear after this until early 21 BBY.
