Chapter Five: Aftermath

With the Galaxy still reeling from the Sith revelation and the Battle of Bastion, the Alliance rushes to respond to the multiple threats surrounding it. Using meager forces on the Imperial Front, the Alliance attempts to contain the Jedi, using Grand Imperial Union and Jedi resources to attack almost two hundred worlds that made up the original Remnant.

Yaga Minor produces more warships for the Empire, but the promised boost in supplies is cut as Admiral Gar Stazi and Master K'Kruhk lead hit-and-fade attacks on the worlds within the Corporate Sector. The Corporate Sectors fleets have amassed at Orinda, facing down an Alliance fortress world at Bandomeer and a small but well-equipped force at Taris.

Garqi and the Cassander Sectors, with Alliance help and the heroic actions of Andre Hagan, have thrown off Admiral Yubari, whom has taken her damaged fleet to Bastion, while the Grand Admiral Veed dispatches a full fleet group to Roon as part of Operation Unity, which has been revealed as a Sith base world. The Alliance has dispatched Kira Romar and Aru'wn Bonadon to lead a fleet there, beside Jedi such as Sae Kya and Vorn. Darth Atavus takes firm steps, beside Talon and Veed, to create a fortress world for the Alliance to attack.

The Jedi have been drew to act at Daothmir, which becomes embroiled in its own Force War. Wolf Sazen and Cade Skywalker prepare to move there, and prevent a Confederacy invasion of the world. Meanwhile, the Hapan Queen weaves a net of treaties with the other neutral states, offering weapons and technology in exchange for their agreement to the Daothmir Accords - if any entity involves themselves militarily in the affairs of Daothmir, the entire group will declare war on the offender and any signatory of the treaty that does not fulfil their end of the Accord.

The Cassander Sectors, Meridian Alliance and Commonality have signed the treaty, and Hapes is approaching the Verpine Separatists under Xaare, allies of the Empire and Confederacy, with the treaty and recognition of their existence as a free state - to the Alliance's dismay. With the Verpine Separatists poised to caused immense damage to the Alliance, they crave recognition from powers not intent on abusing their strategic location.

The Chiss, however, remain embroiled at Adumar, where Sey Pachrias has fallen dueling the last Maleficarum. The Imperial Knights seek to avenge her and win the Battle, damaging the Alliance's blockade of Borosk. To complicate matters, however, the Chiss have the Yuuzhan Vong to deal with, whom, under Warmaster Nas Choka, are preparing to strike at an Unknown Terror to shore up their position, while Bosa Nejeco watches.

In the Mid Rim, Kol Skywalker prepares to engage the latest threat from the Sith at Qiilura, believing the hundred Sith deployed there are all that remains of the Sith reserves. Many hundreds remain, concealed, preparing to unleash themselves on the Galaxy. Emperor Roan Fel prepares to break out from the Outer Rim and launch a long-range strike at the Core, but finds himself mired in the manipulations of Aden Kya and Mandalore the Shadow, whom prepare their own Force War against the Jedi against his orders.

The greatest threats, however, remain near the heart of the Galaxy. As Anaxes descends, inevitably, into martial law, the Galaxy prepares for a new wave of destruction. However, at the center of the maelstrom, and a point in the Force that could devastate billions, is one Ryu Brightstar, whom may yet save or curse the Galaxy forever.
