107-TR-953/084, also known as Quick, was a clone stormtrooper who fought for the Galactic Empire but sank into a deep depression after his closest brother, 031-TR-949/084 deserted. He sought a transfer to a post with more fighting in hopes of redeeming himself for failing to stop his brother from leaving and eventually found himself fighting the Rebel Alliance in the Outer Rim Territories. He was killed leading a charge against Rebel forces hiding on Gulvitch.
Biography[]
Quick was a clone born in the vats of Kamino in 10 BBY and was placed in a squad that included 031-TR-949/084, VK-584/6821, two non-clones, KM-357-3599, KM-333-3600, and their sergeant, CT/S-9031/80. They were assigned to the planet Fresia and in 1 BBY they came under attack by Rebel soldiers who were stealing X-wings. During the fighting Quick noticed one of the squad's non-clones, Valos Clensaa, was overcome with fear and fleeing the battle. Making a snap decision, he shot Clensaa in the back, killing him. VK-584 and the other non-clone, Onder Duzill, were killed by the Rebels, who managed to escape with four X-wings. The squad's casualties were replaced by non-clones Munto Kyliff from Ajampor, Iothe Druna of Anobis, and Jeurnoth Inthulpin from Draenell's Point.
A few days later, 031-TR-949/084 deserted the squad and Quick, already struggling to reconcile his decision to shoot Clensaa, sank into a deep depression. Another new recruit, Chetur Pothras, was sent to the squad but Quick was did not even speak to him, seeking a transfer instead. He was finally moved to Oversector Outer and he fought in several engagements against the Rebellion. In 1 ABY he was given command of a squad and sent to Gulvitch to participate in the hunt for a small group of Rebels hiding there. They encountered them and Quick ordered a charge as they seemed unprepared. However, the Rebels fought back and Quick and four members of his squad were killed before they wiped out the Rebels.
